In 1728, Danish Sailor Vitus Bering ventured to the North, crossed the Bering Strait, and discovered Alaska. The Bering watch company began when Danish adventurer René Kaerskov landed at the North Pole and was blown away by the clean lines and infinite expanse of white ice. He was so inspired by these sights, that his watch brand, Bering, was soon formed.
They aim to make their watches in the best quality they can. Their stainless steel watches are made from surgical grade 316L stainless steel, their titanium watches are strong and hypoallergenic, they use sapphire crystals in every watch, and their ceramic watches use technology to create ultra slim hardened ceramic cases.
These watches are great quality and run from about $100 to $400 or more.
